VLC has pushed an update for the windows phone version and the new update brings last.fm scrobbling and myriad bug fixes. You can see the last.fm scrolling in action in the screenshot shown below. Also the application feels a lot more stable than before which is a nice thing.
The previous VLC 1.2.1 update for windows phone fixed crashes that people experienced with WAV and FLAC files.
VLC is an open source media player and it allows users to play most of the video and audio compression formats. It also lets users stream myriad formats with hardware acceleration enabled.
This update will be made available to only VLC beta users so there two variants available on windows phone store – one is final non beta version and another is beta version.
