Acer has released a bunch of Type-C 4K computer monitors that won’t hurt your wallet. This includes CB2 series: CB272Kbmiprux, CB272UEsmiiprx, CB272Ebmiprx, and CB242YEbmiprx, all of which will go on sale from the 22nd November 2023.
While these Acer monitors are compatible with basically every OS out there, they offer a Windows-only software Acer Display Widget, and by installing it on your PC, you can set display modes and split screen settings without operating buttons on the monitor side.
The Acer CB272Kbmiprux is a 27-inch model that supports a 3,840 x 2,160 pixel display, and the expected actual selling price is expected to be around 318 USD. It features ΔE<1 color reproducibility, HDR10 compatibility, dual-screen PIP/PBP display, and USB Type-C input/USB PD 90W power supply support. The housing is 90% recycled plastic.
The Acer CB272UEsmiiprx is a 27-inch model that supports 2,560 x 1,440 pixel display, and the expected actual selling price is expected to be around 202 USD. It boasts color reproducibility of ΔE<1, HDR10 compatibility, dual-screen PIP/PBP display, 100Hz refresh rate, and 1ms high-speed response.
Both Acer CB272Ebmiprx and Acer CB242YEbmiprx support 1,920 x 1,080 pixel display, and the former is 27 inches and the latter is 23.8 inches. Expected actual selling prices are around 148 USD and 121 USD, respectively. It has a built-in speaker, and also features flicker suppression and blue light reduction functions.
