Taipower a Chinese tablet maker is now offering an x86 based tablet. Called the Teclast P90, it features Intel Core Z2580 processor that is clocked up to 2 GHz. Specs include 8.9 inch Samsung sourced IPS retina display, 1920×1200 pixel resolution, 2 GB LPDDR2 RAM and 7000 mAh lithium ion battery.
Battery life is said to be around 10 hours or 100 days of standby time. While unit measures only 8.3 mm. There is a 2 MP and 5 MP front and rear camera as well. For communication, you get WiDi, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
The back of the Teclast Intel P90 looks very much like an elongated iPhone 5s. It is on sale with a price tag of 999 Chinese Yuan that rounds to USD 160.
