Onyx Boox C67 is a new ereader that is currently on sale only in China. This ereader device is intended to compete with the Kobo Touch 2.0 and the entry-level Kindle. Onyx Boox C67 specifications include 6 inch e-ink paper display with resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.
Onyx Boox C67 specs: The only real drawback is the lack of touch, thus forcing the user to use the D-Pad to navigate the menus and physical buttons to turn the page.
Powered by dual core 1.2 GHz Freescale processor, it comes with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage expandable with a micro SD card slot. On board, there is also a headphone jack, useful for listening to audio books and music.
The price of Onyx Boox C67 is very tempting, just under 70 Euros. That said, we cannot recommend buying this ereader as it is lacking a dedicated EPD controller, which then affects the speed of the turn-page, this device is not Adobe Certified (so there may be problems with PDF rendering) and does not incorporate Wi-Fi module.
