Onkyo is a popular Japanese company and it has launched a new 8 inch Windows 8.1 tablet with an affordable price tag of 25,000 Japanese Yen (~ $200). The tablet is called the Onkyo TW08A and here are its specifications:

Since the launch of windows 8.1, prices of laptops and tablets have gone down considerably. In USA, one can bag laptop for as low as $200 and high quality laptops can be bought for mere $300. That said, not all cheap $200 laptops in USA are worth buying as some laptop manufactures have been lot of sacrifices to get the cost that low.
Battery life is rated to be about 10 hours with normal use. The Onkyo TW08A will go on sale on November 27 in Japan. Do not have any expectation for it land on US shores as Onkyo has never sold any of its products States-side.
