Logitech G PRO X 60 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Keyboard is latest mini keyboard release in 2024.
It features dual-shot PBT keycaps, LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting, game mode switch, and volume/media controls. Logitech says the new mini keyboard supports two types of connectivity – lightspeed and Bluetooth. Lightspeed offers a wireless connection that is as fast as wired.
The company has also included a semi-hard case in the package.
People, especially gamers like to use these 60% keyboards – they offer more space for mouse movements and are much easier to carry around.
However, Logitech G PRO X 60 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Keyboard lacks cursor keys. Logitech says it solves this issue with keycontrol function that lets you assign 15 functions to each key. You can pre-program other keys to execute cursor commands.
Honestly, we are not too sure with this implementation. Our brains are hard wired for the physical cursor keys and despite assigning existing keys for cursor keys, it just does not feel natural. Also, this lack of cursor keys is felt when not gaming, such as working on an Excel sheet.
Here is review of previous generation keyboard that came with physical cursor keys.
Logitech G PRO X 60 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Keyboard will go on sale for $230.
