At the CES 2014 event, Haier has released three new devices – HaierPad H6000, Mini 781 and Maxi 1043. All run Android operating system. The Haier 781 is the world’s thinnest tablet as its casing is mere 6.6 mm thick.
Haier was still able to slice in the powerful Rockchip RK3188 with quad core Mali 400 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 7.85 inches IPS display and 1024×768 pixels in Mini 781. Other specs of Mini 781 include 8GB / 16GB flash storage, 5-megapixel main camera, and a front camera with 2 megapixel sensor. Suggested retail price is set at 179 euros for the 8GB version and 199 euros for a model with 16 GB storage.
HaierPad Maxi 1043 is bigger and has 10.1 inch IPS display with full HD resolution, which means you get 1920×1200 pixels packed into the tiny screen. HaierPad Maxi 1043 specs include quad core 1.6 GHz processor, 2 gigabyte RAM, 802.11n Wi-Fi, mini HDMI output, 5 megapixel main camera and 2 MP front webcam for video calling.
Haier is promising up to 6 hours of continuous runtime on a single charge. HaierPad 1043 will be available in three colors: navy blue, matte black, and purple. The suggested retail price is set at 299 euros . HaierPad Maxi 1043 will make its debut in April this year.
