Buffalo has released an entry level WiFi 6 router in the market. Called the WSR-1500AX2L, this router comes with support for 1201Mbps in 5Ghz band and offers whopping 300Mbps in 2.4Ghz band.
It comes with built-in antenna design that gives it a very slender look and at same time, ensures WSR-1500AX2L does not occupy much space. It measures 55 x 159 x 130 mm, and the weight is approximately 338 grams. Buffalo WiFi router features support for OFDMA, MU-MIMO and TWT.
OFDMA divides the band and allows multiple devices to communicate simultaneously to achieve high speed/low latency. MU-MIMO allows simultaneous communication with multiple devices, and TWT reduces battery consumption of smartphones and tablets.
Coming to supported security protocols, this Buffalo WiFi 6 router offer support for WPA3/WAP2 Personal and WEP. Of course, there is support for wired Ethernet LAN.
Buffalo WSR-1500AX2L has support for WiFi EasyMesh and WiFi Alliance that allows users to create mesh network, giving them ability to combine various compatible routers and relays. It is pretty cheap, costing under $50, giving it an obvious edge above its competitors.
