ATP launches industrial grade 2242 and 2260 M.2 SSD
More and more storage manufactures have been launching M.2 solid state drives lately. Today ATP has launched a new collection of new industrial-grade SSDs. The new models are 2242 and 2260 M.2 SSDs where 42 and 60 in the names indicate how long the drives are.
Smaller ones have lower capacity and they will likely be used in PMPs and HTPCs. Of course they will also be heavily used in thin laptops like ultrabooks. Experts also say that it might make them to embedded systems and point of sale terminals.
The new ATP 2242 and 2260 will features all modern SSD features like S.M.A.R.T monitor, TRIM and Advanced Wear-Leveling), as well as Power Cycling Protection (PowerProtector) and Data Integrity Protection (AutoRefresh).
ATP is all working on slimSATA and mSATA storage devices which will be making their debut along with the 2242 and 2260 M.2 solid state drives.
Elecom SX-CL24L CL23L CL22L CL21L CL20 laptop coolers launched in Japan
Elecom has launched six new laptop coolers in the Japanese market. First is the SX-CL24L SX-CL23L which have blast mode switch that increases the rotational speed of the cooling fan. It features a 14 cm fan that spins at 1300 rpm that can cool down your laptop by up to 13 degrees. The main difference between the SX-CL24L and SX-CL23L is the use of built-in USB 3.0 hub that adds four additional ports. SX-CL24L price is ¥ 22,800 ($ 190) while the SX-CL23L retails for ¥ 15,100 ($ 125). Weight of SX-CL24L is about 1,580g and SX-CL23L weighs 1,530g.
SX-CL22L – It is a notebook PC cooler with a stand where you can adjust the angle of the body. It is with a 20cm fan capable of doing maximum 800rpm which in turns cools down your laptop by 10 degrees. Price is ¥ 8,870 ($ 74).
SX-CL21L, SX-CL21- The SX-CL21L is for 15.4 inch to 17 inch laptops. The main difference between SX-CL21L and SX-CL21 is their size. The SX-CL21 can be used only with 12.1 to 14.1 inch laptops. Both come equipped with a 20cm fan capable of doing a maximum of 800rpm. With tax, the price of SX-CL21L is ¥ 8,870 while the SX-CL21 7,090 yen.
SX-CL20 – It is a flat cooler for laptops that can accommodate a wide range of laptops (12.1 – 17 inch). The price is ¥ 5,310 and is available in only black color.
Onda B220 is perfect Apple iMac clone
Onda is a Chinese manufacture that has launched a clone of widely popular all in one computer Apple iMac. Even the press photos are similar to the original iMac. Price and availability details are unknown though but judging by rest of Onda’s lineup, the B220 is going to be darn cheap.
Onda B220 specifications include 21.5 inch display packing full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 0.7 cm total chassis thickness that houses motherboard and all computer components. Included in bundle are wireless keyboard and mouse just like iMac. Other specs include Intel 2.42 GHz processor, built in HD graphics, 128GB mSATA SSD, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and ALC662 speakers with 5.1 output. You also get USB 3.0 ports, Wireless LAN and Bluetooth.
Back in 2008, Asus also churned out a cheap all in one computer but it looked much different. The Onda B220 is also much more powerful than Asus computer as it features Intel J1900 processor which is a lot more powerful than the Atom CPU that was used in Asus.
Lenovo Z70-80 is a 17 inch broadwell laptop

This makes it attractive to both gamers and multimedia enthusiasts. You can configure the Z70-80 with up to i7 processor with maximum of 16GB RAM and hybrid drives.
Ports selection include 2x USB 2.0 ports, 1x USB 3.0, SD card reader, HDMI video, headphone, microphone jacks, LAN and JBL speakers. Textkraft for iPad updated, writers rejoice
Infovole has just pushed a significant update for their iPad app Textkraft. The application which is geared for people who love to write on their iPad. The new update brings following enhancements.
Upon fresh install, you will find a brand new toolbar that will be much appreciated by fast writers. It gives you access to all important functions without going through myriad pop ups.
Second major and much awaited change is the addition of new dark and sepia themes. I personally love the dark theme as I type most of my content during night time when my wife is asleep.
Other changes include more font sizes, revised dictionary and a start page that fetches information and news directly from infovole’s site.
