ASUS ZenBook Pro UX501 review was done by our friends at notebookitalia who spotted this slim and stylish laptop at a tech event. The laptop has been officially launched by Asus and is already on sale in Europe for about 1800 euro.
ASUS ZenBook Pro UX501 looks very similar to its predecessor but the casing is slightly more compact, measuring 383 x 255 x 19.7-20.6 mm.

The ASUS ZenBook Pro UX501 casing has brushed aluminum casing with typical concentric circle that make the Zenbook range stand out. The keyboard has nice white backlit and you will love the presence of numeric keypad. This will be appreciated by those who type in a lot of letters.
ASUS ZenBook Pro UX501 specifications
UX501 is powered by quad core Intel Core i7 4720HQ that scored 8178 in the passmark benchmark test. However the high light of this laptop is not the sheer power it has underneath its chassis – it is the display that packs 4k resolution which is 3840 x 2160 pixels. To push that many pixels you need a lot of GPU and for that Asus equipped Zenbook Pro UX501 with Nvidia GeForce GTX 960m graphics card. Lenovo Y50 is also available with Nvidia GTX 960M GPU.
