Archos 140 Cesium is the latest laptop that believes a little too much about cloud computing. From a distance it looks a bit too much like the Apple Macbook Air but fortunately it costs one-fifth of what latter costs. The asking price is mere 249 euros in its home country, France.
Archos 140 Cesium specs include Intel Atom Z3735F quad core processor clocked at 1.33 GHz. This excellent power sipping CPU is backed by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage expandable with microSD cards up to 128GB. This is not the first time Archos has made a device that is not a phone or tablet. Back in 2009, Archos churned out 10 Netbook that also came with an Atom processor, albeit a much weaker one.
The screen of this Archos laptop measures 14.1 inches packing resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Just above the display is a 2 megapixel webcam that is decent enough for Skype calls. For connectivity, you get 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 2.0 ports, a mini HDMI and audio jacks. Measuring 251 x 233 x 20 mm and weighs 900 grams, Archos 140 Cesium has massive 10000 mAh battery that offers 8 hour battery life. Also check out Acer Iconia A3 A30 With Atom Z3735F.
