Acer Iconia A3-A30 is the successor to the Acer Iconia A3-A20 but unlike the latter, will be equipped with an Intel Atom Z3735F bay trail processor. It runs runs Android 5.0.1 Lollipop and comes with a 10.1-inch Full HD display. The Acer Iconia A3 A30 will be launched this summer and will come with a quad core Atom processor instead of an ARM processor. MediaTek MT8127 was used in Acer Iconia A3 A20.
Acer Iconia A3 A30 specifications include Intel Atom Z3735F 1.33 GHz processor, Intel HD graphics, 2 gigabytes of memory and 32GB of internal flash storage expandable via micro SD card slot. Its brilliant 10.1 inch IPS display sports a resolution of WUXGA which is 1920 x 1200 pixels with Gorilla Glass technology and ZeroAirGap.
Acer is also expected to release a version HD screen (1280 x 800 pixels), just like the Iconia A3 being sold in the market. This variant will bear a cheaper price tag too. Rest of the configuration includes a micro USB 2.0, a micro HDMI, 802.11n Wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and two cameras to 5 megapixel (front) and 2-megapixel (front).
While a concrete release date is not available, we assume that this tablet will be presented at the upcoming Acer global conference slated to take place in New York on April 23.
