Acer has launched two new chrome books in market – CM5 and CM3. The Acer Chromebook CM5 features 15.6” display while the CM3 is targeted at netbook lovers, since it packs 12” panel.
Acer Chromebook CM5 specifications include AMD Ryzen 5 3500C processor, 8GB memory and 256GB SSD for fast performance. Acer Chromebook CM5 also features an aluminum alloy top plate and a keyboard with colored WASD keys. The display is equipped with a 15.6-inch full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) glossy liquid crystal that supports 10-point multi-touch / USI pen which is sold separately.
Interface selection of CM5 includes USB 3.1 x 3 (of which 2 are Type-C, video output / power supply compatible), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI, 0.9 mega pixel Web camera, microSD card slot, audio input / output, etc. Acer Chromebook CM5’s main body size is 357.6 x 244.16 x 18.5 mm (width x depth x height), and the weight is about 1.95 kg. Battery life is about 11.1 hours.
Acer Chromebook CM3 has 2in1 form factor, allowing you to use display as tablet, thanks to its 360 degree hinge. Acer Chromebook CM3 specifications include 11.6” display with 1366×912 resolution and 3:2 ratio. It is powered by MediaTek MT8183 CPU, 4GB memory, 64GB eMMC storage, USB 2.0 x 2 (one of which is Type-C, video output / power supply compatible), Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, 0.9 mega pixel Web camera, microSD card slot and audio input / output jack.
Acer Chromebook CM3’s main body size is 269.2 x 215.8 x 16.8 mm (same as above), and the weight is about 1.14 kg. Battery life is up to 15.6 hours.
