TWRP is now available for download the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5. The package, created by XDA developer user, jrkruse, not only installs TWRP custom recovery onto your Fold 5 but installs patched Vbmeta and at same time, removes encryption. This makes the ROM writeable.
The only supported devices are F946B/0 and F946B/0/DS, which means this TWRP must not be installed on US variants of Fold 5. Even if you install it on supported Fold 5, Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass will never work again, even if you install official ROM. The package messes up Samsung Knox which prevents certain Samsung apps to run properly.
Another thing that would not work is Google Play integrity check and right now, there is no way to get rid of warning screens that appear during boot.
How to unlock boot loader on Fold 5?
Open the Settings app on your Galaxy Fold 5.
Navigate to About phone > Software information.
Now tap on Build number section seven times to enable the developer options.
Go back to the main page of the Settings app.
Locate the new Developer options section and open it.

Bootloader must be unlocked. See Unlocking Bootloader below
There are 2 USERDATA_AIO files a force wipe and a no wipe one
The force wipe on must be used on a totally stock rom that has not had encryption removed as formatting of data is required
If flashing with stock firmware use the regular csc with the force wipe userdata aio.
If upgrading firmware and you are already decrypted data then use Home csc with no wipe userdata aio to retain your data
US and CA users see post 2 for download of US and CA CSC files and use those instead of ones with stock firmware
Flash USERDATA_AIO in Userdata slot in ODIN.
Phone must be open to inside screen for TWRP
Phone will automatically reboot to Twrp 3 times
Ignore Errors on Twrp flash screen they are normal
Once phone boots back to TWRP 3nd time and stops choose root method they will be provided as zips on sdcard and flash
Below are zips and folders containing zips that will be preloaded onto internal storage of phone

Flash any zips needed then take note. If using US sim please see post 2 before formatting data
