Tapo C120 Review
Both CCTV cameras are IP66 compliant and can be used both indoors and outdoors. In addition to being equipped with smart artificial intelligence that detects people, vehicles, pets, C120 and C425 can be fixed with magnets or the included double-sided tape.
Both C120 and C425 come equipped with a spotlight and starlight sensor which ensures support for night photography. The resolution supported on both is 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.
Tapo C120 has two types of infrared sensors. You can use either 940nm, which allows you to take pictures up to 5m away without the LED flashing, or 850nm, which allows you to take pictures up to 10m away. The viewing angle is 120 degrees diagonally, 103 degrees horizontally, and 55 degrees vertically.
The main body size is 67.4 x 57.4 x 44.1mm. The only difference between the two is fact that C425 can be rotated from the app. So, if you use C425, you can move it in any direction while, on the other hand, the C120 has fixed position.
You can, however, manually change the C120’s direction and postion – but it is not possible from within the app, like in case of Tapo C425.
