AYANEO has launched a pocket-sized gaming PC that brings back memory of OQO UMPCs of 2010s. Like those cheeky computers, this AYANEO SLIDE runs Windows OS. But unlike the OQO, this can play some serious games.
AYANEO SLIDE is a 6-inch portable gaming PC equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor and Radeon 780M GPU. It features a physical keyboard that can be used by sliding the display upwards. The resolution is full HD, and the tilt can be adjusted up to 30 degrees.
The cooling system included in AYANEO SLIDE are three copper tube modules, two thermally conductive copper plates, and a high-pressure turbine fan. The left and right controllers are equipped with a hall effect joystick and triggers. It also has a vibration feedback function using an X-axis linear motor.
Main AYANEO SLIDE specifications include AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor, 16GB memory + 512GB SSD or 32GB memory + 2TB SSD, 6-inch full HD IPS LCD, and runs Windows 11 Home OS.
The interface includes USB4, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, left and right controllers, keyboard with RGB light effects, audio input and output jack.
The main body size is approximately 226 x 90 x 28.5 to 37.5 mm, and the weight is approximately 650 g. Battery capacity is 46.2Wh.
Even if you’re not into gaming, this is a pretty capable computer that you can use on the move.
