The arrival of the new graphics cards NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti has awakened a huge fever of leaks of what will be these new graphics cards.
What we bring you today, as a preview for tomorrow, are the first images of these models from the manufacturers Palit, EVGA, ZOTAC and PNY.
It is undeniable that all fans are, right now, pending the release of the next card graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti. At the end of the day, the few data that have been leaked on them make it foresee that they will be more powerful graphics cards than the current GeForce GTX 1080 and 1080 Ti.
And this expectation, the truth is that we like it a lot. Especially since NVIDIA has not launched a new series of graphics to the market two years ago.
RTX new GeForce 2080 and 2080 promise to represent a leap in performance quite considerably, compared to the current GeForce GTX core Pascal. Thus, we know that the next NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 will have 2944 CUDA cores, with a frequency of 1710 MHz, and 8 GB of GDDR6 RAM in a 256-bit bus and a bandwidth of 448 Gb / s, but with a TDP of 285 W (which is considerably higher than the current NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080).
For its part, the NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti have 4352 CUDA cores, with a frequency of 1545 MHz, 11 GB of GDDR6 memory on a bus of 352 bits and a bandwidth of 616 Gb / s. The TDP is maintained at 285 W.
The fact that graphics card manufacturers are going to launch their custom models at the same time as NVIDIA’s reference model is something we’ve never seen for NVIDIA. At least, when it comes to the launch of a new family of graphics cards.
The usual thing has always been that NVIDIA and the rest of manufacturers launch their reference models and, a few months later, the first models with custom heatsinks and overclock begin to appear in its components. Exactly why this change of attitude of NVIDIA toward its assemblers could have to do with the high consumption of these new GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti, which requires cooling solutions more advanced than traditional steam- type blowers with steam chamber.
In any case, tomorrow we can give you many more official data on these new graphics cards, especially with regard to their performance, which is what really interests us all.
