The Acer Aspire S13 replaces the Aspire S7 but keeps the beautiful looks of its predecessor. Acer Aspire S13 review has been done in Russian by folks at mobile-review and they are quite impressed with it. Externally, the S13 does not cause the same excitement as the legendary Aspire S7, but when you look at it, you will see that you are looking at a device that is extremely good looking. Acer Aspire S13 review continues.
Acer Aspire S13 build quality review: There are two colors available – white and black. On left, there is a USB 3.0 port, headphone and SD card slot. On the other side, there is a USB type C port, HDMI and a dedicated connector for the charger. It is unfortunate that they decided not to use the Universal Type C.
This model uses the same hinge as in Aspire Nitro. Two vent holes are used on the back of the Acer Aspire S13 laptop. It measures 327 x 228 x 14.8 and weighs 1360 grams.
Acer Aspire S13 display: In contrast to Aspire S7 and Lenovo laptops like Ideapad 100s, in this model the opening angle is not 180 degrees. It has touchpanel and supports multi touch gestures. However, if you go for the touchscreen S13, you will get glossy display and vice versa. So if you hate glare, going for non touchscreen model with matte display is a better option. Viewing angles are excellent in both cases as it has IPS tech.
Acer Aspire S13 keyboard: Acer has really upped their game when it comes to keyboards and it really looks nice. The touchpad is large and, at first glance, is quite responsive.
Acer Aspire S13 battery life: The manufacturer promises up to 11/13 hours of battery life for matt / touch screen.
Acer Aspire S13 performance: It will come with i5 / i7 / i3u sixth generation skylake processor that will be paired with Intel HD 520 GPU. It has upto 8GB RAM and upto 512GB SSD.
Verdict – Acer Aspire S13 price is going to be around 700 dollars in USA which is about half the price of Macbook Pro Retina model in USA.
