Chuwi is a popular Chinese tablet manufacture and today it has released Chuwi Ebook which is basically a 10 inch tablet designed to be used as ebook reader and for jotting down designs using its pressure sensitive pen input.
Chuwi Ebook specs include a quad core Intel Atom Z3736F processor that is based on Bay Trail architecture, 2GB of memory and 32GB of flash storage. Other than supporting input using stylus, the Chuwi Ebook can also dual boot. Yes, you read that right – it can run both Windows 10 and android operating systems.
The company says that the Chuwi Ebook accepts 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity that lets the user draw and write on the screen. It is currently on sale on many Chinese ecommerce websites for around 170 dollars. Other Chuwi Ebook specs include 1280 x 800 pixel display with IPS tech and Han Wang eS4 pen.
Unlike Apple Pencil, it does not require a battery to operate. You also get HDMI, micro USB ports, micro SD card slot, head set jack, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, stereo speakers, 8000 mAh battery, 5MP rear and 2MP front facing cameras. Chuwi Ebook is good for doing either jotting down notes, drawing and ereading but you are really serious for drawing and price is no bar then it is better to go with Pocketbook CAD which is a 13 inch ebook reader.
