Samsung has updated its family of premium smart phones with two new models, especially for those who like large displays. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge + both have a AMOLED 5.7 inch (2560 x 1440 pixels, with 518 PPI) screen. Under their glass and aluminum shells, you will find Samsung-built Exynos 7420 octa-core 64-bit processor backed by 4GB RAM, 32 or 64 GB of storage and Android 5.1 operating system. Both devices will hit the retail shelves coming August 21. So how do these two devices differ. There are two major differences. Galaxy Note 5 is equipped with an S-Pen while Galaxy S6 + Edge does not have a digital pen but a screen with curved edges (left and right).

So to sum up, the two smartphones are pretty much the most powerful phones that Samsung has ever produced till date. Micro SD card slot and removable battery feature is now thing of past. Power users, including me will miss it.
Samsung has also introduced a new keyboard-cover that adds a small QWERTY down below the screen which gives it a very Blackberry like feel. Rest of the specifications include 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, a 5 megapixel front camera, NFC, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 , 3000 mAh battery with fast charging and Qi and Powermat standards.
