LG Ultra PC 13Z is a refresh of broadwell processor and runs Windows 10 operating system. Codenamed LG13Z950, the LG Ultra PC has same design as last year model but is updated with Intel Broadwell and Windows 10. It was spotted on FCC’s website which has revealed some of its specifications as well.
LG Ultra PC 13Z specifications include Intel Broadwell U series processor which means either Intel Core i5-5200U or Core i7-5500U, Intel HD 4400 or HD 5500 graphics, up to 8GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB SSD, two USB 3.0, a micro USB 2.0, HDMI digital video output, microSD card reader and Wi-Fi 802.11ac module.
LG Ultra PC 13Z will come with the same chassis as the old model since the FCC documents have multiple references to both devices. For example, the antennas of the WiFi module is identical to the previous version. We do not know when the new LG Ultra PC 13Z (LG13Z950) will be launched, but we will know more at IFA 2015 where the Korean company will be show-casing it at the booth.
