PowerColor Radeon RX Vega 56 Nano Edition has been released and will probably be on display at the upcoming Computex 2018 event. Note that it is RX Vega 56 and not the RX Vega Nano SKU. This also implies that there would not be an AMD RX Vega Nano graphics card. While PowerColor Radeon RX Vega 56 Nano Edition specifications were not released to the public, its picture was unveiled.
In the picture, we can point out the two point connectors (8+6 pin) which are standard for the larger AMD RX Vega 56. This Nano edition GPU comes with a single cooling fan in order to keep the overall profile as small as possible.
To be frank, the exterior looks rather dull. We hope PowerColor adds some color later to the chassis – no pun intended.
Sapphire has already demonstrated with the Pulse Radeon RX Vega 56 that such a compact PCB is easy to manufacture. Whether or not PowerColor will be able to keep the Radeon RX Vega 56 Nano Edition at bay will also be interesting. Computex 2018 fair will take place from 5 to 8 June and we are hoping to give PowerColor a visit to check out this new graphics card.
