DeepCool has announced the addition of new liquid coolers for the PCs. Called the Maelstrom T-series Maelstrom 120T and Maelstrom 240T, these heat sinks are made with 0.2m thick copper base and consists of micro channels that offer greater dissipation of heat especially the area which is in contact with the coolant.
A new engine made of ceramic zirconium has also been used in the pump which extends the life bringing total life to 120,000 hours.
DeepCool Maelstrom 120T and Maelstrom 240T are manufactured using 120nm and 240nm technologies respectively. Both models are 27mm thickness and in both cases, PWM 120mm fans are used. They operate at speeds between 600 and 1800 rpm to push air up to 83.64 CFM, generating between 17.8 and 34.1 dBA LED noise.
Both of these heat sinks from DeepCool are compatible with all modern Intel and AMD sockets including the new Intel LGA 2011v3. The company has not announced or availability date or the price.
